My wife asked what I wanted for lunch and pasta was on the very top of my mind. We headed out for one of the local pizza and pasta fare establishments here in the Phoenix area. We got a bit off track and my appetite was unyielding. We ended up at a place called Crust. It had a nice essence about the interior decor. The waiter was quick at getting to our table and offering his services to take our order. Two cokes, and an appetizer called Garlic Knots, to start. We had expected some pizza dough balls covered in butter and garlic powder. Instead what we received something phenomenal. Tied up balls of pizza dough slathered in fresh garlic and basil served with the freshest marinara you will ever taste. They were decadent. Trying and I say that loosely, to not sound like my wife and I are making love to the dish at the table we indulged. Our main order came up, two slices for the Mrs and a Linguini Chicken Alfredo for me. It was not on the menu but the chef and waiter were happy to accommodate my craving. The pizza was amazing. It had quality ingredients through and through but don't get me started on the monster slices of mild pepperoni that were snappy and not riddled in grease. My Chicken Alfredo was rich creamy and FILLING! The balance of lemon spritzed grilled chicken in combination with the rich creamy Alfredo sauce worked great together. The waiter asked us to try the canoli. What a smart recommendation. This is not your fluffy cream that fills most of what you think of as canoli cream. It was dense, sweet and had a cinnamon zing to it that was not only tasty but cleaned the taste buds after the meal. My wife and I could not stop raving about the place after we left. Our biggest regret was the fact we were full and could not keep eating. Gary Bullock

“There is no other. Crust is absolutely amazing. I have been eating at their Indian Bend location for years and absolutely love it. My friends and I go as often as possible. I did hire them to cater a birthday party for my son. We needed not just childrens food but food for adults. OMG! fabulous and they made all the recommendations and I went with it. ontime, food was hot, food was delicious. Once again everyone enjoyed another meal at my home and i did not have to cook it myself. The owners/partners. all three are really nice guys and will help you with any decisions you need to make for a party. My friends have hired them because of my recommendation as well and have nothing but wonderful things to say. No one here in the valley makes a Rustica or a rollatini like they do. Sure they have alot of other great meals but those are my favorites. Especially for football games at home. I invite friends over and this is the perfect food that is not too messy but so tastey. I personally recommend Crust for all holiday, special events and party needs.
When eating at the location, be prepared to have wonderful glass of wine to go with your meal. Their knowledge and choice of wines is wonderful.
Keep up the fabulous tasting food and wine!
